Stevie's new long awaited solo album, Trouble in Shangri-la, features guest vocals from Lindsey Buckingham, Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLachlan, Natalie Maines, and Macy Gray. Stevie's band is made up of her long time regular members along with some of Tom petty's Heartbreakers as well as some  members from John Mellencamp's  band. What a line up ha?

Sheryl Crow is the strongest collaborator, as a producer, songwriter, singer and musician.  On the Nicks-penned "Sorcerer," a corp of guitars bubble until bursting into a full rocking chorus. Crow also coaxes some of Nicks' finest singing in years, especially blended with Dixie Chicks Natalie Maines on the country rock tearjerker, "Too Far From Texas."

The album  was released on May 1, 2001.
